John,
I used Gorilla Glue last year to repair a broken slat in an outdoor bench. I
also, of course, screwed a 4x6 inch metal plate underneath the slat for
reinforcement. It seemed to work okay, but it'll never steal me away from my
beloved epoxy. :-)
