On what planet? At least they were consistant and showed the
same vertical dimension of the E-1 (10 inches) as the 6MP
cameras.
I'm looking at a heavily cropped digital image from my A1 (5MP
2/3" sensor) that is the equivelent of around 20x24. It's good
enough for gov' work. Definitely as good as Portra 160VC in
35mm.
Resolution and digital cameras vs film cameras is a wierd thing.
Digital gives you what "appears" to be better resolution, but
not on everything. When it fails, it fails horribly. Film hangs
in there better with patterns and implied details.
