Not that dark on my monitor. I can see details on the lower right corner and
certainly on the rest of the foreground.

Do you mean using PS or any other graphics software?. I didn't try, just
played around with monitor calibration.
2.2 gamma seems too contrasty here. Setting no white point increases
brightness.
My 0.02 of an uruguayan peso ( = .52 usd)
