Yes, I did a comparison between Velvia 50 and Kodak Elite Extracolor (E100VS
if you prefer the pro version) a few years ago and much preferred the Kodak
EBX.  From my point of view it was a bit warmer, speed was a believable 100
ISO (Velvia seemed to like to be exposed at 32) and while the EBX seemed to
be just as saturated it didn't seem to be as high in contrast  as the Velvia
(don't know if that's the case or not as contrast and saturation seem to be
somewhat linked).  Just because I prefer the EBX doesn't mean everyone else
will, so get a few different films, shoot them on the same subjects, same
light, bracket exposures and make your choice.  Oh, and another point too, I
can buy the EBX for about half the price of Velvia.
