John Sylvester is a photographer based in Prince Edward Island, Canada's
smallest province [population ~135,000, land area 5,660km2]. PEI is located
in the Gulf of St Lawrence just off the coasts of Nova Scotia and New
Brunswick.
I have no connection with Mr Sylvester other than the odd email here and
there. He is a 35mm Canon or Nikon user. His photos are joy to view.
For OMers in the UK, PEI could be the ultimate home of "The Archers", a BBC
talk radio program about country folk. An American couple from Kansas or
Iowa told us in 2003 that PEI was the ultimate scenic rural destination they
had experienced in north America.
