Usually when a red flag jumps up on an auction it pays for me to mind it.
That has saved me some money. /jmac

what he is selling?

Perhaps I'm too cynical. I am interested in a zuiko that is up for auction
but while checking out the seller I noticed he tried twice to buy the same
focal length zuiko this month as he is selling. In each case he was the
second highest bidder and in fact he bid a price that stood a good chance of
getting the lens. There doesn't seem to be a record of him winning an
auction for this focal length.

The lens he is selling is claimed to be perfect. Seems odd to be seriously
trying to buy a lens equivalent to what he has decided to sell. About the
only thing nefarious that immediately comes to mind would be if he swapped
the lens ring making the lens appear to be a more desireable late MC
version.

Yes I'm paranoid, but am I unreasonably paranoid?

TIA,
-jeff
