In addition to the other things that have been suggested, you need to take a
photo or two of Kauai's answer to the Grand Canyon, "Menehune Gulch". Use
Velvia. You get to it by taking the road up to Waialeale (the wettest spot
on earth). If you bring an inner tube or air mattres, you can go "fluming",
too. Great fun.
