Similar in a way, but it doesn't mount to the lens in any way but rather to 
the housing around the lens.  The lens can zoom freely inside the 
adapter.  It takes up a lot more real estate [<-- topic du jour] than the 
IS-3 diopter, which is also a much finer piece of gear.

I'll attempt to post a picture sometime.  At this time it appears that the 
TCON-17C is only for the C-5060.
