There I was-
Sitting in my "office" (one corner of the master bedroom), minding my
own business, hard at work. All of a sudden, I heard a loud, piercing
scream, followed by absolute silence. Concerned and confused, I got up
and walked to the family room, wondering. What was the matter? Had one
of our kids had a serious accident? Had an electrical appliance
malfunctioned and electrocuted someone? Had my wife seen a burglar? A
paramilitary invasion in our back yard? A cockroach as big as a lobster?
No. She was just scanning the list...
