Missing a ring around the small rangefinder window. The Canon website has a
museum that lists the models by serial number range, if you can get the S/N
you can pin down what model it is. Back in the early 1950's where I'd place
this one they were called II and III and IV, and the variations are based on
shutter speeds range and values, presence/absence of self-timer, and other
variables. The condition of this one looks OK, but not exceptional... plan
on a CLA (which you can probably handle... <g>) I've seen various models go
for from ~$100 to $300+ for really clean ones from the first half of the
1950's. They got considerably more sophisticated in the late 1950's, e.g.
the Canon P, VI-T and VI-L, and the Canon 7, 7s, and 7sz. I favor the late
1950's without the meter, but I haven't managed to find an affordable one
yet... the Canon P in good shape usually goes over $400, and that was the
'cheap' model when new...
