It's amazing how kids can make you feel eh?

But about AF.  I have been using it on my Cont*x G2 (and G1 before I 
sold it), C*non G5 and Olympus LT-1.  The latter is the fastest, the 
former the most accurate, and the middle the sloooowest (in low light 
at least).  You comment about being "more tolerant" of AF is spot-on: 
for me it is an obstacle to be overcome sometimes, rather than a boon.
