Since it's been referred to in a couple of posts here lately regarding the
5400dpi scans I passed around, I have decided to put up a really dumbed-down
version of the red hot rod shot, mainly as an example of a near miss of what
could have been, in my opinion, a pretty neat picture.

If I had been standing further back a couple of feet, if the 35-80 Zuiko
were a 28-80 Zuiko, if the folks had been closer together, if a frog had
wings, and so on and so forth, then this had the potential of being a
photographic version of a Norman Rockwell painting: the guys, both young and
old, intent on examining the machinery, doing manly-man stuff, while the mom
is holding a child's jacket, paying no attention to the shiny hot rod, but
doing motherly duty and keeping an eagle eye on the youngster. If only I
could have gotten all of her in the frame. *Sigh* So it goes.

And before anyone else asks, I don't know these folks from Adam's house cat.
They were just part of the few thousand people at this Creepers Hot Rod
show.

Note that the posted photo is an 800x518 pixel, 109KB JPEG of an original
7328x4752 pixel, 104MB TIFF scan, so when I say it's "dumbed down," I ain't
exaggerating.
