John,
I'm not an entymologist. I don't even play one on TV! ;-) Someone posted an
excellent link to the University of Michigan dept. of Zoology cicada page
earlier that had detailed descriptions of the many Broods. Here it is again.
Maybe you can figure out what you have there.
