There are thousands of hosting companies available. You have to be to
picky....some will offer hosting @ $ 5.00 a month..but you have to look at
what you are really getting for your money!! Look at what features they
offer, how many mailboxes, transfer rate, etc. At one time I had set myself
up with a Canadian organization called JIFFYNET (www.jiffy.net) and had
nothing but problems. Their email was down 99% of the time. Their support
was only available by EMAIL..which is OK but sometimes I want to talk to a
real person.
Now I use Buffalo Web Hosting, www.buffalowebhosting.com. Very reliable,
affordable, and a PERSONAL level of service. You can actually talk to a real
live person. They offer quite a bit of features for the $$. They have local
servers here in Buffalo, down south, and overseas with complete redundancy.

I'm using ICDSoft (on a recommendation from Tom Scales),
http://www.icdsoft.com , 300Mbytes, email, domain name reg, and various
other stuff for $US65/year. Support seems good from the one time I
needed it, things just seem to work. Of course you need to cut your own
html.
