It sounds fishy when you say 'bought another battery'; that could imply
that you have used a Lithium 3v battery, which is definitely not suited to
an OM-2n. You should be using 2 357 silver batteries (also known as SR44W),
which are high drain batteries.
But even a lithium battery should obviously be OK overnight, so you do
appear to have a problem....
