I've been offered a Slik 804cf for £100 on sale. Looks like they have
been superceded by the 814cf as the 804 doesn't appear on the Slik
site, which is presumably why the price is so cheap for a carbon fibre
tripod that would retail for £200 full price. Would I be a chump not to
jump at this? Anyone got anything bad to say about the Slik design?
