As others have mentioned, the display resolution is also a problem.   

Eventually, these shortcomings will get fixed and viable ELVF's will come to 
the market.  They'll eventually be almost as good as an optical, TTL finder and 
eliminate the need for any swinging mirrors.  But that time may be 10-20 years 
away.
