Hello again.

some of you may remember me, though I haven't been here since the Architecture TOPE about a year ago. I'll be off to Yorkshire (N. England) this weekend to see if I can get a shot of the Ribble Head Viaduct for the current one.

I still have my OMs and will probably get the OM-4 out for this exercise, though most of my photography this year has been done digitally. Back in January, Digital depot were selling the last of the E-10s for UKP600, which was just too tempting. Then they offered the x0.7 and x1.4 converters for UKP100 the pair.... and they were going on eBay for at least 75 each at the time. Had to sell my C2100UZ to help fund the purchase, but didn't lose out very much on that sale, so I was quite pleased. Delighted, actually.

Nice piece of kit, the E10. I'm having a bit of trouble with the manual focusing, though - however much I mess with the eyepiece adjustment, getting sharp focus manually is still a bit hit and miss. I wish they'd put a split-image in the focus screen. I can't figure out how to get the lcd screen to display a magnified image when manually focusing either - the manual says it can do this, doesn't say how to make it do it - have I missed something obvious?

Nice to see the E-1 almost amongst us at last, though I think it will be a few years before I take that plunge now.
