I came across an OM-4 myself today on the main Danish internet trading
site, and only 15 minutes away by car. Unfortunately early circuits, but
general condition reasonably good; metering and shutter seem to work fine,
as does the self-timer. It came with both instruction books (in Danish and
Swedish, dated 03/84), 50/1.8 SC, and a good 135/3.5 Zuiko (plus a
throw-away Vivitar 28/2.8). The focussing screen had been washed, with poor
results; fortunately I had a spare 2-13 screen which greatly improved
viewing. Good price by Danish standards - 1250kr. = 115GBP = 200USD. If I
can sell the 135/3.5 (Ihave two already), the price for the OM-4 on its own
looks even better.

Rotate the lever to the other side. If it is rotated towards
the lens it just disables beeping. Away from the lens enables
the self-timer.

Thanks, Ken. But it doesn't work any which way.The light comes on during
battery check, but I've tried various permutations, including all the reset
options in the FAQ, and it stays dead.

Ah well. It was a good UK price just the same, about a hundred quid or
slightly less cheaper than a fully working model in similar or slightly
worse condition.
