Velvia (ISO 50 version) has been through three different formulations in its lifetime. Not counting the latest Velvia 100F. A lot of the 40 ASA recommendations came about from experience with the first formulation. I think the latest ISO 50 version works just fine at ISO 50, and the 40 ISO recommendation is a left over from the first version. Wayne |
