An update from Gary Reese, who obviously gets around:
My recollection of prices, as I saw there a month ago:
OM3Ti = $1699
90mm f/2 = $999
28mm f/2 = $700
180mm f/2.8 = $700

I pointed out that the prices were higher than Olympus America was getting
for new stock on ebay and the guy said he was going to check that out on
eBay. Given that the outlet auctions new in box items (as opposed to their
used items), I suspect we will see this stuff sell on eBay. It has been there
for sometime.

Feel free to post this to the OM List and hopefully prevent lots of long
distance calls into the overworked sales staff.

Steve again:
My take on the above prices is that $900 for a 180mm F2.8 is a bit low for Wolf Outlet pricing, but $900 for a 28mm F2 is insane.

I dropped by the Wolf camera Outlet on Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas today, and saw something unusual- Boxes of Olympus equipment. I don't know if they have anything in the boxes, but here's what they have:
OM3T
90mm F2
28mm F2
180mm F(2 or 2.8, I don't remember)

I don't know how much they want for them- I kept remembering the old adage "if you have to ask, you can't afford it". Besides, if they want $90 or more for a 28mm F3.5 with no box or case, I wasn't expecting a bargain.

Thanks, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa
