[OM] Dismantling an OM1 - Update

Hey guys,

Many, many thanks for the flood of helpful advice I received in response to
my query - particular mentions to John Hermanson for his very clear
step-by-step guide, to Chuck Norcutt for forwarding me his collection of
advice from previous posts to the list, and to Tim Hughes for the wonderful
pdf showing exactly what needed to be done.

Inevitably I scratched the trim on the top of the winder lever, but other
than that it was a painless enough process. The problem turned out to be
foam rot eating into the prism silver, so I cannibalised my sadly defunct
OM10 for a clean prism and the world through my viewfinder is now a much
less murky place.

Now to put a film through it...

Thanks again

Mike
