Depending on the spectral frequency, the penetration of UV through the glass is an issue. Does the needed frequency reach the affected element? Suspect that the only realistic path is to remove the yellowed element for direct exposure. Whether your source produces the resonant frequency UV needed is an unknown. The one thing about sunlight is the complete spectrum. Also suggest serial test photos with adjacent color cards.
