Where are you headed and from what direction are you coming? Every large
river that empties into the Great Lakes has a lighthouse at the entrance if
I am not mistaken. Each seems to be of a different design and are even
built for different purposes.

I'm headed to Michigan this week for my sister-in-law's wedding. In
the travel section of the Dallas Morning News today was an article on
Michigan's lighthouses. The featured site was the Fort Gratiot
lighthouse at Port Huron. I know we've got some list members in that
area, I was wondering how photogenic the area is this time of year. I
don't know if I can make it up there, but it might be a nice side trip
if I can make it.
Any advice?
