Not only can you pay with a credit card, they can send the bill directly to your credit card company, which saves mailing the info back to speakeasy every month.

I've had speakeasy DSL for just over a year here in Texas, running on SBC copper, with Covad doing some sort of connection duties. The price is not the lowest, nor my speed the fastest, but I get web space, two *static* IP addresses, a connection that just never goes down, and none of the pop up ads and other annoyances that I would get with SBC/Yahoo.

Thanks, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa

Boris,
I just switched to Speakeasy.net for several
reasons, one of which is that they are based here in Seattle, near where the
Speakeasy Cafe was in Belltown.... They have now gone
nationwide, and have managed to earn a stellar reputation for getting DSL
connections up & running in an average time of four days, which beats the
socks off most of the competition. They stick with you until you are up and
running. I am on only a dialup, but they stuck with me (in the middle of
the night, no less -- a LIVE, friendly, patient, tech person!!!) until my
problem (modem) was fixed. So far, they get an A for customer service from
me, and they are saving me $5/mo. over AOHell. You can pay with credit card
or by check. Get an e-bill or a printed bill in the mail. Try that with
AOHell.
