John's advice on how to shoot fireworks is exactly right. In
the '70s, I shot the "Light Up Atlanta" fireworks display half a
dozen times from the Coca-Cola HQ parking deck with an OM-4 and
100/2 doing pretty much exactly what he recommends.
You can only take a few hundred shots of fireworks, though, before
they all start to look alike, so enjoy it while you can.
Also, I'm the original motor drive junky. I've got four of 'em,
use 'em almost all the time. But using a motor drive to shoot
fireworks? You got to be kidding!
