Yes.  The Vivitar 283 and 285 models are frequently mentioned as great value 
for the money.  Very potent for not much money.

You do not need a "T-series" Olympus flash because the OM-1n doesn't give you 
TTL with those flashes.  If you must have an Olympus
flash, the Olympus T20 is the right size for the OM1n shoe (tiny).  I wouldn't 
suggest putting a big Olympus T32 up there cause the
removable shoe is delicate and the T32 is heavy with 4 AA batteries.

Any of the 4 flashes mentioned so far will give you "Normal Auto" automation.  
You set the OM-1n on 1/60th or slower (1/30).  Set
the flash to your film speed (ISO) and put it in the shoe.  Turn the collar to 
lock it in place, then turn it on.  On the flash,
find aperture setting and use that on your lens.

The flash will "read" the scene and turn off the light when the proper exposure 
is acheived.  There's more to it but that will get
you started.
