The Novoflex control works very well but takes some getting used to. The
60-300 is a great lens. If they have done the mechanical match-up well it
should be an interesting combination. Well worth trying for that price. /jim

I responded to an ad for a Tamron SP 60-300mm with 'precision focussing'
this weekend. The lens turned out to be a Novoflex triggergrip housing that
contained a Tamron SP 60-300; I had never heard of this combination before.
The trigger grip is used for focussing, and has a button to activate the
1:1.55 macro feature. The seller was the original owner, who said that he
had only used it a couple of times, and it was in mint condition. It is a
bit bulky, but follow-focus is very easy. I paid 500 DKK (around 70 USD) -
pretty cheap for a 60-300 SP.

Does anyone have any experience of this Novoflex/Tamron in use? I guess
that it would be best for sporting events....
