Hi; me again
Today I called on the Olympus agent HO in this city to get some small parts.
Spoke to the head technician. I mentioned that Olympus UK had stopped
getting parts in. His comment was that in this country with such a small
market they don't carry a lot - and asked had I seen the two lots of parts
going up on the Bay. Yes, I had heard of them.
But the inference was that they here will continue to stock some parts.
He showed interest in joining this group, so I obtained his address and
mailed him the details when I got home.
I also managed to snaffle a copy of the 2003 Olympus calendar. All done
with Camedia cameras. The first 3 shots are not as sharp as analogue - but
it's hard to tell; perhaps I'll be able to give a better verdict after I've
seen them
all. Didn't get the part number ... ...
