Depending on your answer, I've got a Tokina 50/250 OM mount that the mount
innards are jaked on. Anyone interested?
My local repair guy just dismissed it as 'obsoleted by Tokina, not
repairable' without really even assessing it. I've subsequently gotten the
Zuiko version, so I didn't pursue it any further.

Greetings All,
Does anyone on the list have any experience switching
mounts on a Tokina lens? For example: removing an OM
mount from a junker Tokina/OM lens and placing it on a
better Tokina lens with some other manufacturer's mount.
It raises the question...are the internals of the manual
Tokina lenses identical or do they differ depending on
the body they are designed to fit.

Thanks,
Charlie Geilfuss
