Yeah, that's part of the equation too. I didn't think of it 'cause my
only DC has a rechargable Li-ion battery, so I won't see any aditional
cost unless the batteries (I bought 2 when I got it.) wear out before
the camera becomes technically obsolete, breaks, is lost, etc.
