Attack of the Clones is completely digital. Lucas worked with Sony and they
created digital camcorders to fit his needs.   We saw it in a digital
theater and it was amazing.  Every bit as sharp and bright as film.  No
"splices" between reels, and there were some colors (like one lime green
alien) that I'd never seen as vivid in any film based movie.  We've also
seen film movies transferred to digital.  Not good.  Lower contrast picture,
not as sharp.
Farmingdale NY has 2 multiplexes on Rt. 110 (within a half mile of each
other) each has atleast one theater set up for digital projection.
