Actually I had the opportunity today in a shop to mount the OM-4Ti +
Viv 2x-macroteleconverter + 180/2.8 on the magnesium head of a
Manfrotto 190 (Bogen 3001) tripod. seems stable enough, and the lens
mounts seem solid enough ... the telephoto lens support (3420) may
not be needed finally!
