On a whim I put a low bid in on this lens. Won it for $39 including

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. I realize it is an
outdoor, bright sun lens, since it is slow and suspect it can't be wonderful
with such a wide range.

But, it seems like there are situations where having just one lens would be
very useful.

Thoughts, experiences?

Just a thought only. The zoom ratio is something like 1:6. The ratio of the Zuiko 50-250 is 1:5. In principle, why should this Tokina be so much worse if the Zuiko is not that bad?

But then, why do you need it, Tom? ;-)
