You're right I was out on the date. The zoom creep is quite slight on mine but it is there when I'm actively out and about. It does not particularly bother me. I agree it is a better lense than the 28-105.


Actually, itwas built in the early 80's. You might be thinking of the
28-105, or later Series1's that are not as good. That's the first I've heard
of zoom creep on those. Mine's always been nicely snug.
