People black out the fronts of macro lenses so the writing
won't show up in the reflections on the subject. Often
they'll also shoot through a hole in black cardboard or
velvet to prevent images of the camera or shooter. The
lens glass you can't do much about. Later Zuiko macros
moved the lettering to the outside rim.
