Yeah, I had forgotten about my experience with this. This also reminds
me of talk about Russian cameras with helicoids, and helicoid grease
hardening up, and my experience is that the C-3, and C-44's have the
same problem, I have thrown more than a couple in the trash due to
sticky/hard focusing. And the loose screw are another problem. I have
fixed a few too,because it is not a hard fix, but do not make a habit of
it.
