NO, no, no! All modern cameras use TTL, but only the Pentax LX and OMs meter OTF for other exposures. If a Canikolta wonderbrick is set on auto in the dark it measures the light *before* the exposure, calculates the time and the shutter is then opened for that time. If a couple of flashes is triggered in the mean time the wonderbrick don't know and don't care, and the exposure will be ruined for shure. OMs on the other hand will measure all light *during* the exposure, sum it all up no matter where it eminates from, and stop the exposure when enough light has reached the film.

For basic TTL they all do it in the same way, OTF. The modern cameras also feature more advanced flash modes where the flash will fire first, measurements are taken, and then the exposure is taken with a new flash. This is still TTL but not OTF.
