I shouldn't Skip. I have not been able to avoid them on mine though ;-)
I should like to try Panorama Tools, since I tried a quick and dirty
set of shots while on holiday in Spain earlier in the month. I used
an XA and no tripod in the El Torcal National Park in Andalucia. The
place is a Karstic landscape, quiet and a little eerie.

They were all shot with the same exposure, first. And Panorama Tools
balances the exposure and color differences between exposures automatically
when it does the stitching (you pick the reference image).
