You can minimize it or maximize it depending on the circumstances. :-) It
all depends on lens and subject. What focal lengths are you using?
Are you thinking about photographing architecture?
I have found that you can pretty much see in the viewfinder all the
distortion that a lens is going to give you... You just need to look closely
at the different parts of the image.
