I'm new to DVDs, having just bought my player a couple of weeks ago. But
when I drop in a disk and close the drawer and all that crap begins, I just
push the "play" button on the remote, and instantly the feature begins.
Skipping to "Chapter 1" even bypasses the opening credits.
Could it be some folks need a new DVD player maybe?
