How about, just because I like film better! The slap of the mirror, the
turning of the knobs, the clicking of the rewind.... All of this
contributes to my enjoyment of photography, and the images that I can
get from film work for what I need.
As has been discussed before - the experience of a good slide show has
almost been lost. I'd rather enjoy what I can about film, and not worry
about resolution, etc. before it makes my brain explode with confusion
over "what is best". If one is ultimately concerned about resolution,
get a 4x5.
