FWIW, such prosthetics are also available for pet owners who
don't want to see their beloved Rover without his undercarriage:

...which begs the question, would you put size Great Dane onto 
size Taco Bell Dog (which is easier to spell then chiw..chiuia...
you know what I mean).

A family member, after a removal of one due to testicular
cancer, chose not to go the prosthesis. Eye'll have to ask him
about it.

Oh, and my father (who was in the RAAF) knew of two RAAF doctors
with the names Dr. Killer ("pronounced killER") and Dr. Death
("pronounced deeth").

'S a funny old world.
