This weekend our family drove to southern germany to celebrate the 80th
birthday of my grandfather's partner. On our way back we stopped at my
Uncle's house and when we talked I found that he is an OM user, too.
He has a nice bunch of equipment and I could hardly stop myself from asking
if he wants to sell it. His OM-2 is in nice condition. So is the 24/2.8 and
the 50/1.8. His 50/3.5 macro is ex+ and when I took a glimpse of the 300/4.5
towering in the closet it seemed like new. I had no time to take a look at
his OM-1 and a Vivitar zoom.
Too bad there was no time to carfully inspect the lenses. I'll have to wait
until our next visit on 20th Sept. This will be my Auntie's birthday so
there will be plenty of time then ;-)
