If you trip the shutter using the *on the camera* button (i.o.w. the normal
shutter release) the shutter will open and close but the Winder won't wind.
Then if you press the button on the Winder, the Winder will advance the film
and stop... I don't know if this works when using a remote release on the
Winder, but I guess it might. So you set the body on B, trip it using the
on-camera shutter release (with locking cable?) then at the end of the
exposure close the shutter and use the button on the winder to advance the
film. If it will do so from the remote electric release, you could use a
long cable release to the camera and the electric release to the Winder and
maybe that way not have to climb up on top of your telescope to push the
buttons...
