And another good reason for o-ring sealed hard cases and silica gel cans on such trips - even if it is a few inconvenient extra pounds. Or at least heavy duty ziplock bags and plenty of fresh silica gel packets.
Cheers

I just got back from my month long trip to Asia. I went to
Thailand, HK, and Taiwan. The trip totalled 31 days. 8 days in
Thailand, 3 in HK, and the rest in Taiwan.
The first day I got to Thailand, when I went to one of the temples,
and I pulled out my OM, the lenses fogged and my camera was all but
dripping wet. The meter was ok, but soon started to short a little
bit, and about 20 minutes into viewing the temple, the meter had
died.

Funny, but the meter on my OM1 failed in Thailand too. It was my fail
safe back up to the OM4T and the fast film holder for inside shots.
The '4T' worked fine the whole trip, but the OM1 was just dead
weight.

Sounds like the camera got chilled in a too cold tour bus and
attracted condensation.
