Well, duuuh! Don't you know you shouldn't believe anything said by anyone
whose last name ends with "man"? People with such surnames tend to be
shady characters and are not to be believed unless irrefutable
corroboration is provided. It was in the heyday of their nefarious deeds
that they came to be called "highwaymen" (or when alone, a "highwayman").
Some have shortened the name today in an attempt to avoid detection, but
still, you should be alert (particularly since we desperately need more
lerts), for any similar name is but a revelation of ancestry and most
surely an indication of an evil and chicanerous predisposition.
