I decided to scan the MTF-based lens tests of Zuikos I have.
They are acessable on my web page at:

I´ve just scanned the pages with the diagrams. So downloading
may not be that fast. Just for additional information for the
guys which are interested in. I´ve found most tests published in
a swiss photomagazine 20years ago, when they MTF-metered
almost the complete marked.

I still have trouble wrapping my mind around the meaning of MTF. How
do you interpret the data?
