The trick here is that only some places will do the refund, and only if you
buy more than a certain amount. Most of the bigger chains are okay, and a
lot of smaller places (especially in London) have 'vat refund' stickers on
the door to tell you that they know what's going on.
Definitely worth keeping an eye out for, though, especially for larger
purchases.
