Ideal place to start scuba diving Olaf, or just snorkelling. ....you will
not be disappointed. havent been there myself, but heard lots of good
things about it. So enjoy your holidays.
oh, btw, I would not bother to lug all that much equipment around; I
always prefer to travel light and confine myself to one or two wide-angles
(incl. the 21mm!), one middle range and one long range zoom. plus one flash
of course.

Well, the stress has been building up over here lately, so something had to
give: either me or my wallet; I decided to choose the latter...:)
So, having found a good last minute deal, this Friday (July 5th) we're off
to Greece. To be more precise, to the island Lesbos.
We'll be staying there for 3 weeks, and we'll be on a rather tight budget,
nonetheless, we will intend to make the most of the stay, and the same goes
for the photographic opportunities.
Gear and film wise I know pretty much what I will take, being something
like:
Film:
Provia 100F and Kodak E100VS
Gear:
OM-4Ti + OM-40 or OM-2n (as a back-up)
24/2, 28/2, 35/2.8 Shift, 50/1.8, 35-80/2.8, 100/2, 65-200/4, 300/4.5
T32, F280
Lens-wise this is a lot, but since I don't have to carry the stuff around
all the time, I can make specific day-packs.
Now, what I'm looking for mainly is some advice as to what to go see in
Greece, and in particular, on the Lesbos island (yes, yes, I know where the
word lesbian comes from ;) ). We may or may not be going to the mainland of
Greece (Athens?) and we may or may not rent a car for a few days.
Any and all advice will be more than welcome.
